"...meet me at the fair."

"meet me in st. louis, louis,
meet me at the fair,
don't tell me the light are shining
any place but there;
we will dance the hoochee koochee,
i will be your tootsie wootsie,
if you will meet me in st louis, louis,
meet me at the fair!"

i've been singing meet me in st. louis all morning.
after easter parade, it's my all time favorite movie.

so here are a few more photos from the fair.

until next year...

*a few of these photos were taken by our rockstar friend leslie.

I have SO enjoyed your fair photos and the vintage look to them. They remind me of the labor day fair in my hometown growing up. Ahhh, sweet memories of cotton candy and the ferris wheel.

I knew we were meant to be friends! Meet me in Saint Louis is one of my favorite all time movies. In fact I think that I know every single Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire movie there is.
We need to chat! I'm going to NYC in October and I have the best photoshoot idea. Maybe we could meet up!

I'm a friend of Emily Bybee Stembridge, we have a long crazy history (reunited at EFY after years and years apart), and she turned me onto your blog. So basically I've been a follower for months and months!

This is my favorite post because I love that you know the movie "Meet Me in St. Louis". It shows you're cultured, at least in my eyes!

"Oh Mr. Neeeeeeely! Who gets ice now, Mr. Neely?"
