eleanor loves playing the piano with papa.
she bobs her head back and forth while she plays.
sometimes she plays with just one finger, then both hands.
white keys. black keys. high and low. loud and soft.
it's become her favorite thing to do
and mama and papa's favorite form of entertainment at our house.

This is so adorable! I always wanted to learn how to play as I got older. I hope that she learns to play as she grows up :) Talent seems to run in the family!

i truly don't believe there is anything cuter than that! she's the cutest of the cute!
she's a cutie. I laughed out loud when I read "she bobs her head back and forth while she plays," she's a natural musician.

Beautiful pictures, I love the second one. Have a lovely day!
Um, is that a little tweed dress she's wearing? Too stinkin' cute!
Oh so fun! When our son plays the piano sometimes I want to put a brick on the soft petal. :) but there truly is no greater sound. Those pictures are so sweet!
What a doll! She's precious!
That is so precious. I love the photos you took of them playing, especially the second one showing her mimicing him. Watch out, you've got a little performer on your hands.
She is utterly gorgeous! How cute that she bobs her head :)

such a cutie, as usual :)
So adorable. Maybe a future Julliard student like her mother?
She's got more than looks she's also got talent!!!
Well I think she is definitely going to be the next Beethoven eith that musical feeling.
She looks like a natural up there!
Words cannot adequately describe how cute this is. If you start her on lessons young, just make sure you force her to keep going even if she gives you lip about it when she gets older. I regret giving up on piano when I got to high school, especially since my brother continued his lessons and is now a professional musician!
This is just adorable. Maybe she'll follow in her mama's footsteps and go to Juilliard?, too!
I swear, Elanor has to be one of the best dressed little girls around. Major props!
Girlfriend can't get any cuter!
I bet she'd make a wonderful pianist! Not to mention, ADORABLE!
the second picture is just BEAUTIFUL!
Eleanor seems like such a delight (:
The piano is so special. It would be great if she could learn at an early age. :)

baby hands are the cutest things . . . so chubby and soft! your little one is so precious (and perhaps julliard-bound?).

I love reading your posts and looking at all of your pictures! I'm curious how you get all of your photos to have that "faded" look? I know you've said before that you don't use PS, but usually only iPhoto and Picnic, so what is your trick!?
Oh god sooo cute! =D she is lovely .. I will follow you on twitter for some time and i love your blog =)
Ayy yaay yaaay... Your little girl's so IRRESISTIBLE! she will really have a future in music! Keep it up, girl! ;)

That is so adorable. I am so curious to hear the names you are thinking of for your new little one. Although, we didn't tell anyone our choices because we didn't want to hear their opinions.
Love the picture of her playing with her dad! So precious!
She's adorable :) I love your blog.
Too cute!!!
So cute!!! I don't blame her though. I always have to touch piano keys whenever I see them!
She is SO cute!!!
How sweet! I wish we had never said "no room" to my husband's grandmother's piano. Bad move.

a future little pianist in the making!
gah, she is gorge!
she is just too cute for words!!! her little face is so adorable, i can hardly stand it.
i know this is way random, but i've been following your blog for a long time now and i was looking for an email somewhere on your blog where i could (finally) ask you this, but alas, finding one.. i cannot. i was just wondering about your quality of pictures- they are so fantastic. is it a lens you are using? or is it the way that you edit them? i have an SLR, but i just love the way your pics are so perfect. the colors are soft, yet they are sharp. if you wouldn't mind letting me know, i would appreciate it so much!
oh, and also: i am in love with miss e's multi-colored hat. my little babe is oh-so-desperate for a winter hat (the snow is sure to hit us in utah soon). and its okay if you dont want to, but would you mind sharing where you got that as well, i would be so grateful! thank you!

hi ,
So cute is your baby .I have kept this picture of your's baby .Also your baby clothes are good
my boys love to play too. sometimes they will even play the entire half hour of a workout DVD. win, win!
Too cute! I love the pictures, too. What a great way to document your daughter growing up. :-)
cute! My little miss loves the piano too! And I love watching her :)
She is so so precious!!
cute picture
your blog is full of love and warmth :)

I'm so envious of people who have the space for a piano (or are willing to sacrifice something like a dining room table to fit it in). I love hearing someone playing as I walk through the neighborhood, but now that it's cold out I'm not treated to those open-window performances anymore.
LOVE the close up shot of her on the piano! (And I completely agree with Heather Brady. A spotlight on you for Mormon.org would be fabulous!)
Adorable! Starting young, she's going to be REALLY good someday! :)
so cute! maybe one day she will be a pro :)!
xo nina.
so cute!
look at that face!
I love it.
Awe what a perfect little post! This is super cute!
hey, could you tell us something about your german course? what did you learn so far? :)
I used to play when I was young, it's a therapy, hope she keeps interested.
She is so cute!
Whoo! Looks like you've got a musician on your hands! She's the sweetest thing!
